Kelli Grant is the U.S. Director for PixPalace; a subscriber based client server solution which enables independent photography agencies to have live feeds into multiple publications simultaneously. PixPalace also allows publications to introduce their own wire feeds, ftp’d images or libraries into the same user interface, therefore enabling them to search all sources with one click. PixPalace originated in France four years ago and has become extremely successful serving over 200 publications with images from 85 agencies on the French market. Prior to becoming the U.S. Director of PixPalace, Kelli was Manager of Quality Control at ARTstor.

You may recognize Kelli’s name from the 13 years she spent in the Photo Department of Newsweek magazine, first as a Photo Editor, and then as their Director of Photo Operations. During her time at Newsweek she covered such demanding events as seven Olympic Games, two Presidential Elections, 9/11, the March to Baghdad, and the death of Princess Diana. In addition, to her editing and logistics duties, Kelli co-designed the photo workflow, equipment tracking and image library systems that are still in place at Newsweek today.

A South Carolina native, Kelli attended Clemson University majoring in English with a Theatre minor with special studies in Architectural History and Design.
