Diana Ross did more than 1 thing when she came on stage at Covenant House’s “Night of Broadway Stars” and donated $75,00 to Covenant House International. Joined by more than a dozen homeless teens, Ross acknowledged more than 700 donors in attendance, praising Covenant House staff and lending support to homeless teens.
Ross told the crowd, “Covenant House is a builder of bridges, a place of shelter and hope that truly saves the lives of these beautiful children.”

VERY GENEROUS WOMAN AND SHE CHOSE THE RIGHT CHARITY…I LOVE IT! SHE SEEMS TO DO ALL THIS WITH NO FANFARE…NO HUGE CHECK FOR THAT PUBLICITY SHOT..AND THIS IS NOT THE FIRST GENEROUS ACT THIS WOMAN HAS DONE…HER FANS ARE IMPORTANT TO HER TOO, AS SHE KNOWS SHE HAS THE FIERCEST LOYAL FANS ANYONE WOULD WANT. I REMEMBER WHEN DICK KIETLER LOST HIS GRANDCHILDREN IN A FIRE…MISS ROSS OPENED HER ARMS AND LOVE TO HIM…I REMEMBER READING HIS BLOG ABOUT HOW DIANA CONTACTED HIM WITH GENERAL FEELINGS OF SORROW OVER HIS TWO YOUNG GRANDKIDS…SHE SENT FLOWERS TO THE FUNERAL AND CALLED HIM BACK AFTER TO SEE HOW HE WAS DOING….THIS LADY IS ONE GREAT ACT..A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING AND I WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL FOR ALL SHE HAS CONTRIBUTED TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND MY OWN LIFE….SHE IS A TRUE INSPIRATION! The look on the faces of the young people behind her is worth a thousand words. She has and continues to bring hope and joy to people of all different backgrounds. Although it has never been her style to boast of her charitable giving, her presence at this event says a great deal about the Covenant House and its incredible mission!

Ms.Ross is so humble, shes a class act and has always been!!!!! The young performers today need to take a serious lesson from Ms.Ross!!!! And yes she is something to behold!!!!!! There will never be another Diana Ross
